I have decided to link up with this blog post from the DFL
forum because it covers a very interesting topic going into the upcoming
fantasy football season. The reason why this is so interesting is because this
is the rookie running back class that will be following up last year’s stacked
class and there are some big names coming out. Last year’s draft ended up producing
many great dynasty fantasy football assets. Some of these guys include Leonard
Fournette, Kareem Hunt, Alvin Kamara, Dalvin Cook, and Joe Mixon. These guys
can all have arguments made for them to be in your top 10 dynasty running
backs. This year’s class is led by the big name that people have been waiting
for, Saquan Barkley. Like the blogger mentioned, Barkley is without a doubt the
1.01 pick in all rookie drafts this year. He is constantly being compared to
guys like Ezekiel Elliot and Todd Gurley, which is always very appealing. He
may be the most hyped up running back to ever come out of the draft and could
very possibly go number 1 overall in the real NFL draft. I also really like the
rest of this blogger’s list. Chubb and Michel, both Georgia running backs, have
a lot of talent and will be going very early in rookie drafts. Guice and Harris
both come from big name SEC schools where they play against some tough defenses
and still had a lot of success. He ends his list with Kerryon Johnson, who is
one of my sleepers in this rookie class. He gets compared to LeVeon Bell, so if
he is anything close to this comparison, he will definitely be worth the
investment.
