Why You Should Start Playing Fantasy Football

If you are not currently in a fantasy football league, now is the time to do it! Fantasy football is one of the best ways to keep in touch with your friends and it is a ton of fun. For me personally, I have a bunch of friends in my fantasy football league that I am not sure if I would still be in touch with them if it weren’t for the league. Once you go off to college or start working your full-time job, it can be hard to stay connected with all of your old friends. Fantasy football will keep you connected. Ever since my league has started, we have all become addicted. It’s a blast being able to talk about all of the different players and talk trades or strategies. On top of that it’s a great chance to talk smack to your buddies and gain bragging rights. Fantasy football can get very competitive so trash talking always goes hand in hand with it. Depending on the type of league you’re looking for, you can even win prizes if you are willing to throw in a little cash at the beginning of the season and some leagues will make it even more fun by giving out a funny punishment to the league loser. There are plenty of free leagues out there too if you are just looking to play for fun. One of my favorite things about fantasy football is that it makes football games a lot more interesting. Even if two bad teams are playing on a random Monday night, you or your opponent could have players in that game, which gives you a reason to care and watch the game. Fantasy football has enhanced my football experience over the years and I guarantee it will for you too!
